Hello I'm Frankie, and I am the webmaster of caitsith.neocities.org!!! I am currently 22 years old, and a full time college student currently majoring in biology. However, when I am not busy with that, i usually am working on this site :)))
web design
My first foray into web design was not intentional, but rather a result of it being bundled with a class that was required during my sophomore yr of high school. While I initially underestimated its usefullness, it ended up being one of the skills I have used the most since graduating . Though definitely in a more artistic sense than a practical one. I think my design choices represent my dislike for modern day web design conventions.
my purpose
Ultimately, this site is a dedication to all the things i admire, as well as a way for me to not so subtly relive my childhood. While i was not able to experience the golden era of the internet in my early adulthood as i expected, i can at least try to recreate it for myself
quick facts/hobbies
I am a neurodivergent lesbian who resides on the east coast of the United States, who loves trying new things while also remaining a massive introvert. I love spending hours on the wayback machine and playing old video games, as well as badly playing instruments

Movies: I am a huge fan of old horror and classic films in general, regardless of their objective quality. i also love watching b-movies, exploitation film, and basically anything that would be featured on an episode of mst3k

TV: I love all kinds of genre tv and animation. my all time favorite show is buffy the vampire slayer (literally watching it as i type this), but lately i have been especially enjoying xena and star trek the original series. I also adore watching shitty 90s dubs of anime and obscure cartoons that were canceled prematurely

Comics: While i have always enjoyed comics, its been something that i have definitely become more passionate about within the last year or so.. I primarily read DC and my my favorite run ever is Batgirl 2009. I also love reading yuri manga, which i talk about/log on my himejoshi shrine page

Music: not to be that person who says they listen to every kind of music, but i am pretty open to giving any genre a fair shot. Primarily i listen to rock/rock-based subgenres like goth, punk, and emo music. However, within the last few years i have also gained a very soft spot for 60s girl groups and country music. you can see what i am currently listening to on my music page. i also

Video Games: i tend to like playing older games, specifically of the gen iv/gen v variety. i also am a huge handheld console nerd and if you have taken one look at my site you can probably tell that i love the ds. but in general i am a huge zelda, and mother series fan. I also love playing low poly indie games
